Shifting Paradigm - Transparency Digital Device Mock Up

This is the first assignment based on a semester long museum exhibit project. The goal is to design an electronic tablet informational guide to the exhibit of choice. This transparency digital device may be something that is handed out at the entrance of the exhibit or something that the user brings and is transmittable.

STIR IT UP! ( Ad Campaign) - WE Day

Farnsworth House - Experimemtal Typeface

This experimental type face is created to promote Farnsworth House near Plano, Illinois. Farnsworth House is built with the support of carefully crafted i beams columns and large panels of glass. The natural environment can be seem from anywhere within the house. The concept is to create a geometric typeface based on the i beams columns and the rectangle shape of the house. The tail of the letter “R” is based on the stairs of the house. The typeface is then built into a 3D wooden form in an environment referencing the architectural model based of how Farnsworth House looks in its natural setting.

Things Are Bad

The assignment is to pick any segment of an audio and present it in a typographic manner. The audio is from a 50's film named "Network". The whole motion graphic video is formed with visual styles that resemblance the vintage stickers and old television graphics yet with a modern update. The color scheme is inspired by the patriot color palette.

Brand Styleguide

CYRA was born out of a need for an intelligent form of reliable energy. It is a brand that uses the natural processes of plant cells to create a completely new renewable energy source. It aims to create a solution to environmental issues of the world by preserving the life of the landscape.

Alice Game Repackaging

The limited Edition of Alice is placed in a fine wooden box wrapped intimately by fine paper. The mythology symbols is used to reveal the main accessories in the game. The custom logo and dark yet elegant color scheme give off the mood of the game, which is in a thriller fantasy genre. The experience is more than just the visual of the package. Upon opening the box, a ghastly little girl’s voice would be singing Alice’s theme song. The inside of the box is covered with red felt. After “unwrapping” the gift of the booklet and the game, The limited edition necklace would be revealed.

Remy Martin Mixology Website

Remy Martin was founded by Martin founded in 1724. The goal of this website is to connect this business that is almost 300 years old to the young adults between 21 to 35 years old. This website promoting the newest product — Remy Martin V cognac. The concept of the website is called “Mixology”, we gather a series of cocktail receipts that use Remy Martin V, this site is the best “go to” references for party drink ideas for the young adults.

Discover LA - Promo video

Los Angeles is one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Even frequent visitors and longtime residents who think they know L.A. can always discover something new in this exciting metropolis. The goal of this promo video is to attract more millennial tourists to LA. The high contrast color scheme and the bold color create a style that is hip and modern. The paper cut gray-scale photography is referencing the rich history of LA culture. The overall concept is to have this video as a doorway for the viewer to discover that by visiting LA, they are immersing themselves in a metropolitan city that is both rich in historical content yet also the center of hip and modern culture.
